George came to me as a pet. We decided to try to earn his Canadian Conformation Championship- he decided to take us on the ride of a lifetime! He earned his Championship in 2 weekends , picking up an impressive Group 3 at 7 months of age. At 11 months of age, he took BPISS at the GRCC National Specialty Show. In his second year in the ring, he picked up his first Reserve Best in Show. At 3 years of age he won his first Best in Show, completed the requirements for his CKC Grand Champion Gold title then went on to secure his first performance title which earned him his Grand Champion Excellent title. In 2023, George really came into his own. He made us so proud earning 5 BIS, 4 RBIS, 1 BISS and an Award of Merit at the GRCC National Specialty Show. We are so grateful to all the judges who found him worthy. He finished his show career with 82 group placements, 37 of which were Group 1. Throughout the years he and I also dipped our toes into the performance arena. He is always game to try something new. He has earned titles in Rally Obedience, Sprinter, Dock Diving, Trick Dog and Scent Detection. As busy as he has been, he's been an absolute joy to have around - calm, biddable, happy, with a fantastic temperament. I could not love this boy more and am so grateful to Connie for selecting him for me.
